Finland Tax Agency Issues Decision Setting 2026 Tax-Exempt Reimbursement Limits for Travel Expenses

The Finnish Tax Administration Nov. 7 issued Decision No. VH/6575/00.01.00/2025, setting the 2026 tax-exempt reimbursement limits for travel expenses. The decision includes measures setting the: 1) base rate at 0.55 euros (US$0.64) per kilometer for cars; 2) maximum daily allowance at 25 euros (US$29) for commuting more than 6 hours and trips exceeding the last full day of travel by at least 2 hours; 3) maximum daily allowance at 54 euros (US$62) for commuting more than 10 hours and trips exceeding the last full day of travel by at least 6 hours; 4) daily allowance limits for business trips abroad, ...
