Meeting the projected timeline for an EU-wide minimum tax will be challenging, Finland’s tax authority warned in a letter published Monday.
Since 137 countries reached agreement on a global tax deal last fall, governments have moved quickly to implement the new rules. The European Union in December proposed a directive that would require all its member states to implement a 15% global minimum tax, per the global deal.
