France Gazettes 2022 Finance Act

The French Official Gazette Dec. 31, 2021, published Law No. 2021-1900, the 2022 Finance Act. The law includes measures: 1) doubling the tax credits for companies incurring training expenses for executives; 2) extending the exemption regime for capital gains from sales of company shares upon retirement to Dec. 31, 2024, and extending the maximum value threshold for the fund to 500,000 euro (US$566,147) for total exemptions and 100,000 euro (US$113,229) for partial exemptions; 3) providing a 10 percent flat-rate equal deduction of professional charges for both domestic and nonresident companies to calculate withholding taxes in compliance with the EU law; ...
