France Gazettes Order, Decree Increasing Minimum Wage, Modifying Minimum Hourly Rates for Partial Activity Allowance

The French Official Gazette July 30 published an order increasing the statutory minimum wage (SMIC), and Decree No. 2022-1072, modifying minimum hourly rates for the partial activity allowance. The order and decree include measures: 1) increasing the minimum wage by 2.01 percent to 11.07 euros (US$11.41), from Aug. 1; 2) increasing the minimum hourly rate of the partial activity allowance paid to employers to 7.88 euros (US$8.12) from 7.73 euros (US$7.96), from Aug. 1; and 3) increasing the minimum hourly rate of the allowance for employers benefitting from long-term partial activity to 8.76 euros (US$9.02) from 8.59 euros (US$8.85), for ...
