France Tax Agency Updates Administrative Doctrine on Meal Expense Deductions for 2024

The French General Directorate of Public Finance Jan. 17 updated the administrative doctrine on meal expense deductions, with the 2024 values for taxpayers subject to the commercial profits tax (BIC) and the non-commercial profits tax (BNC). The values for 2024 are set at: 1) 5.35 euros (US$5.82) for the value of meals taken at home; and 2) up to 15 euros (US$17) deductible for additional meal expenses.
