France Tax Agency Updates FAQs on E-Invoicing

The French General Directorate of Public Finance Feb. 28 updated FAQs on e-invoicing. The updated topics include: 1) the scope and definition of e-invoicing; 2) a gradual deployment schedule for the rollout of the mandatory reporting obligations, beginning July 1, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2026; 3) reporting obligations of taxpayers delivering VAT-exempt goods to specified jurisdictions; 4) transactions excluded from the scope of e-invoicing; 5) rules concerning e-invoice reporting and filing procedures; and 6) the scope of e-reporting under the EU intra-community supply regime.
