Le Maire Wants ‘Ambitious’ Global Agreement on Digital Tax

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire says he is delighted with the progress at the OECD to rewrite global tax rules, but that the final agreement will need to be ambitious.

During a series of meeting in Paris this week, negotiators agreed on a proposed framework to overhaul how the digital economy is taxed and made steps toward answering a number of key questions.
