Georgia Gazettes Law Amending Various Provisions of Tax Code

The Georgian Official Gazette Nov. 14 published Law No. 1061-IVMS-XIMP, amending various provisions of the Tax Code. The law includes measures: 1) requiring resident ultimate parent companies of multinational enterprise (MNE) groups to submit country-by-country (CbC) reports within 12 months of the reporting year; 2) providing nonresidents a tax exemption for interest income received from debt securities issued by a resident legal entity through a public offering before Jan. 1, 2028; 3) exempting from VAT supplies of real estate and provisions of construction services related to the property between Jan. 1, 2015, and Jan. 1, 2029, subject to conditions; 4) ...
