The German Official Gazette Nov. 7 published a regulation increasing the statutory hourly minimum wage rates for 2026 and 2027. The regulation includes measures increasing the statutory hourly minimum wage rates to: 1) 13.90 euros (US$16.05) from 12.82 euros (US$14.81), effective Jan. 1, 2026; and 2) 14.60 euros (US$16.86) from 13.90 euros, effective Jan. 1, 2027. The regulation enters into force Jan. 1, 2026. [Germany, Official Gazette, 11/07/25]
