Germany Gazettes Tax Assistance Law Due to Coronavirus

The German Official Gazette June 22 published a law promulgating further tax relief measures due to the coronavirus pandemic. The notice includes: 1) tax exemptions, loss carrybacks, and deadline extensions under the income tax law; 2) amendments to the trade tax act; 3) amendments to the introductory act to the fiscal code; 4) amendments to the social security ordinance; 5) amendments to the investment code; and 6) the entry into force dates of different provisions.
