Germany MOF Announces Termination of Mutual Agreement for Cross-Border Worker Taxation With Poland Due to Coronavirus

The German Ministry of Finance April 22 posted online Letter No. 2022/0393747, announcing the termination of the Mutual Agreement for Cross-Border Worker Taxation with Poland under the 2003 DTA, signed Nov. 27, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The letter clarified that: 1) the provision of the mutual agreement applies to working days from March 11, 2020 to June 30, 2022; and 2) the termination is effective from June 30, 2022.
