Germany’s second trial over the controversial Cum-Ex tax strategy, originally scheduled to start Oct. 20, was postponed to early next year because of the rising number of Covid-19 infections.
The court in Wiesbaden, which is hearing the charges against six accused, now scheduled the start for Jan. 28. The judges aim to protect the people involved, court staff and the audience from the pandemic, the tribunal said Monday in an e-mailed statement.
