Google will pass on the cost of new digital services taxes to clients in Spain and France, it says, raising prices in response to unilateral taxes meant to make big tech companies pay more.
Clients with ads in Spain and France will be charged an additional 2% fee from May 1, 2021, regardless of company location, Google said this week in a statement.
