The Greek Official Gazette Feb. 28 published a law amending social security provisions. The law includes measures: 1) setting the minimum period of basic pension contributions at 40 years; 2) adjusting the supplementary pension paid if the principal and subsidiary pensions exceed 1,300 euros (US$1,476); 3) upgrading to only electronic services; 4) requiring detailed periodic reports and mandatory submissions of retirement, disability, or death applications; and 5) setting the digital pension allocation procedure.
