Greek Premier Says Pfizer Investment Shows Brain Drain Is Ending

A move by Pfizer Inc to build new global centers for digital innovation and business services in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, shows the country is now an investment destination that’s turning around its “brain drain,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Tuesday.

“The investment is key for Thessaloniki and for the country as a whole,” the Greek premier said at an event to inaugurate the site in the northern city. Greece is turning its “brain drain into a brain gain,” he said.
