The UK tax authority warned thousands of taxpayers that a pilot version of its new digital tax return regime may show misleading information on their tax dues.
Some tax information is currently split between His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs’ existing self-assessment system and the new digital platform, known as Making Tax Digital, being tested ahead of a wider rollout from April this year, according to the tax authority.
