The UK tax authority is set to procure new technology this year to modernize its systems, improve customer service, and close the tax gap, according to its chief executive.
His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs plans to acquire an e-customer relationship management platform by the end of the 2025-26 tax year as a central part of its modernization strategy, chief John-Paul Marks told Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee in a letter dated July 17 and made public Thursday.
