HMRC has awarded a £175 million ($236 million) contract to a UK tech company to modernize its systems and increase its artificial intelligence capabilities, the tax authority said Thursday.
Data analytics and AI software company Quantexa Ltd. will support the tax authority in linking and analyzing complex information held across multiple systems in a safe and secure manner, His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs said.
The Quantexa contract runs through March 2034 and can be extended for up to two years, HMRC said. The deal will also help lay the groundwork for advanced AI capabilities, Quantexa said in a statement ...
