The Honduran Revenue Administration Service Feb. 20 issued Notice No. SAR 09-2026, announcing a tax amnesty benefit under Decree No. 7-2026. The amnesty includes: 1) an application period of four months, from Feb. 13 through June 15; 2) the ability for taxpayers to regularize outstanding substantive and formal tax obligations as of Dec. 31, 2025; 3) a waiver of fines, surcharges, and interest on eligible outstanding tax liabilities; and 4) relief, provided that the obligations were outstanding when the amnesty took effect and are settled within the amnesty period.
