Hong Kong to Waive Taxes for Residents Affected by Tai Po Fire

The Hong Kong government announced that property owners and residents of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po will be waived from the final tax payable for the year of assessment 2025/26 to ease the financial burden on people affected by the fire, according to a statement.

• Together with the tax waiver announced last December, property owners and residents of Wang Fuk Court will be waived from the balance of tax payable for 2024/25 and the tax payable for 2025/26
