The Hungarian Official Gazette Dec. 15 published Decree No. 703/2021, announcing an increase in the 2022 monthly minimum wage, effective Jan. 1, 2022. The announcement includes an increase in: 1) the gross minimum wage to 200,000 Hungarian forints (US$613) from 167,400 forints (US$513); and 2) the gross guaranteed minimum wage to 260,000 forints (US$797) from 219,000 forints (US$672).
