Iceland Tax Agency Announces Deadline for Reportable Platform Operators to Submit Information on Active Sellers

The Icelandic Directorate of Internal Revenue Feb. 27 announced the Jan. 20, 2026, deadline for reportable platform operators to collect and report information on sellers and income distributed to those sellers during the 2025 reporting year, according to a regulation on the obligations for reportable digital platform operators that entered into force on Jan. 1, 2025. The announcement also includes that reportable platform operators must notify the tax agency about their platform within 8 days of the regulation’s entry into force or the platform’s launch.
