Indian outsourcing company Infosys said Wednesday it had received notices for payment of goods and services tax to the tune of 324 billion rupees, or $3.9 billion.
Infosys joins a group of several companies that have received notices over the last year for non-payment of the goods and services tax, which came into effect in 2017 to replace a plethora of indirect taxes levied by the federal and state governments.
