India is offering a fresh round of extensions for a variety of tax payment and filing deadlines, citing administrative challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
The government issued the latest extensions in a notice Wednesday, which applies to tax payments for lower- and middle-income taxpayers, tax filings for multinationals, and applications for a direct tax dispute resolution program. The government had offered some extensions earlier in the pandemic, according to the notice.
