India Tax Agency Extends GST Filing Deadline for Registered Entities

The Indian Central Board of Excise and Customs Sept. 30 published Notification No. 71/2020, extending the GST deadline to Dec. 1 from Oct. 1 for registered entities with revenue exceeding 5 billion Indian rupees (US$68.3 million) in any preceding financial year from 2017-18. Registered entities must make a dynamic quick response (QR) code available to recipients through business to consumer (B2C) invoices. [India, Central Board of Excise and Customs, 09/30/20]
