The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. has cautioned investors about fraudsters claiming to be officials of market regulator SEBI and falsely demanding payment of stock transaction taxes.
- “It has been brought to the notice of NSE that fraudsters are claiming to be officials of SEBI and sending forged communication impersonating official letters of SEBI using forged letter head, logo and seal,” the exchange said in a statement
