Indonesia Audits Four State Pension Funds Over 300B Rupiah Loss

Govt is auditing the pension funds of four state companies in the first phase of a probe into unhealthy state pension funds, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir says in a briefing Tuesday.

  • The four companies are airport operator Angkasa Pura I, plantation firm PTPN, forestry firm Inhutani and food producer RNI
    • Thohir did not specify which PTPN and Inhutani
    • The four posted a combined loss of at least 300b rupiah, suspected due to investment violations
  • Around 70% of total 48 state pension funds are in unhealthy conditions, he says
