Indonesia Tax Agency Announces Appointment of VAT Collection Entities for Digital Goods, Services

The Indonesian Directorate General of Taxation April 14 announced the appointment of global entities for the collection of VAT on digital goods and services. Eligible new VAT collection entities include Canva Pty Ltd, New York Times Digital LLC, Degreed Inc., Home Box Office (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., LNRS Data Service Limited, LexisNexis Risk Solution FL Inc, and Ask.FM Europe Limited. The agency has revoked Netflix International BV and Activision Blizzard International BV as collectors.
