Ireland Has ‘No Plans’ to Fill Budget Gap Caused by Minimum Tax

Ireland has no plans to fill a 20% drop in corporate tax receipts that it expects following the implementation of a global minimum tax, according to its finance minister.

“I’m not planning at this point to have to make any additional changes in our economic policies to deal with that loss of revenue,” said Minister of Finance for Ireland Paschal Donohoe during a panel at FT Live conference on Thursday.
