Ireland Tax Agency Announces Deadline Extension for Filing, Paying Income, Capital Acquisitions Taxes Online

The Irish Revenue Commissioners Feb. 16 issued Revenue eBrief No. 034/26, announcing an extension, to Nov. 18 from Oct. 31, for specific self-assessment income taxpayers and capital acquisitions tax (CAT) taxpayers who use Revenue Online Service (ROS). The extension applies to: 1) taxpayers who both file 2025 Form 11 and make the tax payment through ROS for 2025 income tax and 2026 preliminary remittances; and 2) beneficiaries who received gifts or inheritances with valuation dates in the year ending Aug. 31, and who both file a CAT return and make the tax payment through ROS.
