Irish Corporation Tax Intake Rises Despite Trump Reshoring Fears

Irish corporation tax receipts rose in March, easing policymakers’ concerns that a push by US President Donald Trumpto reshore American profit would erode government revenue.

The exchequer recorded €2.1 billion ($2.4 billion) in corporation receipts in March, a 7.5% increase from a year earlier, according to Ireland’s Department of Finance. On a cumulative basis, 2026 receipts of €2.9 billion through March were down by €0.1 billion from the same period of 2025.
