The Isle of Man Official Gazette Jan. 6 published Statutory Document No. 2025/0225, the VAT (Repayment Interest) Order 2025, amending rules under VAT Act 1996. The order includes measures clarifying that no repayment interest applies to VAT refund amounts issued within 30 days from the later of: 1) the date on which the return related to the amount was filed; 2) the date on which a claim related to the amount was submitted; or 3) the date on which notification of an assessment related to the amount was received.
