The Israeli Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs Feb. 24 announced a deadline extension, to May 31 from March 31, for small business owners to file and pay 2025 income taxes. The announcement also states that: 1) businesses can register as small business owners if their annual turnover doesn’t exceed specified limits, with the limit of 122,833 Israeli shekels (US$39,638) in annual turnover applying as of 2026; and 2) covered small business owners must perform a tax calculation in the tax coordination system and file an annual report, applying a standard 30 percent expense deduction.
