Israel Tax Agency Posts Updated List of Participating, Reportable Jurisdictions for AEOI-CRS

The Israeli Tax Authority Oct. 26 posted online an updated list of reportable jurisdictions for the automatic exchange of information (AEOI) on financial accounts under the common reporting standard (CRS). The updated list includes: 1) the Sept. 8, 2023, deadline for financial institutions to submit information to the tax authority; 2) a list of participating and reportable jurisdictions for the 2022 tax year; 3) the exclusion of enemy countries from the definition of foreign country; and 4) taxpayer identification number (TIN) requirements.
