Italy MOF Seeks Comments on Legislative Decree to Implement EU Directive

The Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance June 30 opened a public consultation on a legislative decree for the transposition of EU Directive 2021/514 of March 22, 2021. The EU directive 2021/514 aims to: 1) improve the existing regulatory framework by extending and strengthening the provisions concerning all forms of information exchange and administrative cooperation between member countries; and 2) extend the scope of operations of the automatic exchange of information provided by digital platform operators.
