The Jamaican Office of the Prime Minister June 4 announced increases in weekly minimum wages, effective June 1, to: 1) J$15,000 (US$96.42) from J$13,000 (US$83.57) per 40-hour work week; and 2) J$15,000 from J$14,000 (US$89.99) for industrial security guards.
