The Japanese Ministry of Finance Dec. 19 announced the same date signing of a DTA and protocol with Kyrgyzstan. The new DTA and protocol won’t affect the 1986 DTA and protocol between Japan and the former Soviet Union, as it applies to countries other than Kyrgyzstan. [Japan, Ministry of Finance, 12/19/25]
