Japan’s Aso Sees Progress on Global Tax Agreements Next Week

Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso, speaking to reporters after a conference call with G-7 peers, says tax wasn’t on the official agenda during Friday’s virtual meeting, but Japan stressed that collaboration was needed to get to deals on global tax rules.
