Japan’s Govt Sees Sales Tax Cut as Inappropriate, Kato Says

The Japanese government considers the consumption tax cut proposed by opposition parties to be inappropriate, Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato says, following the ruling coalition’s major loss in the upper house election on Sunday.
