The Jersey Government April 17 announced the deferral of an amendment to the GST rules due to the coronavirus pandemic. The planned reduction in the GST exemption threshold on imports to 135 British pounds (US$168) from 240 pounds (US$298) will be deferred to January 2021, from July 1, 2020. The amendments were announced as a part of the government plan for 2020-23. [Jersey, Government Portal, 04/17/20]
