Jersey Gazettes Order on Minimum Wages for Trainees, In-Kind Benefit Rates

The Jersey Official Gazette Aug. 28 published Order No. 49/2025, setting the hourly minimum wage rates for trainees at 10.50 Jersey pounds (US$14.15) for first-year trainees, and 11.75 pounds (US$15.83) for second-year trainees. The rates apply to training employment beginning after Sept. 1. The order also sets the maximum amounts attributable to benefits in kind at: 1) 157.15 pounds (US$211.79) per week or 22.45 pounds (US$30.25) per day for trainees, and 194.60 pounds (US$262.27) per week or 27.80 pounds (US$37.46) per day for any other employee, if the employer provides food and living accommodations; and 2) 117.95 pounds (US$158.95) per ...
