The Kazakhstani Ministry of Finance May 5 opened a consultation on a bill to ratify the protocol to the 1996 DTA with Iran, signed Feb. 15. The protocol is intended to align the DTA with the requirements of the OECD base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) initiative. Comments are due May 29. [Kazakhstan, Ministry of Finance, 05/05/25]
