KPMG UK Hires Six New Legal Partners, Wants 400 Lawyers by 2025

KPMG LLP said Monday that it wants to double the size of its UK law practice over the next two years, as it announced six new legal partners.

The Big Four firm said in an emailed statement that expanding its legal business was a critical part of its £300 million ($383 million) long-term growth strategy as it looks for a “fundamental transformation of its UK business.” In April, it hired Stuart Bedford from one of London’s leading law firms, Linklaters LLP, to head up its legal arm.
