Latvia Gazettes Law Postponing Mandatory E-Invoicing for Business Transactions

The Latvian Official Gazette June 11 published a law amending the Accounting Law, postponing deadlines for businesses to send electronic invoices to the State Revenue Service. The law includes measures: 1) extending the deadline to Jan. 1, 2026, from Jan. 1, 2025, for businesses to send structured electronic invoices for business-to-government (B2G) transactions; and 2) extending the deadline to Jan. 1, 2028, from Jan 1, 2026, for businesses to send structured electronic invoices for business-to-business (B2B) transactions.
