Latvia Parliament Considers Bill to Reduce VAT Rate on Specific Medicines

The Latvian Parliament (Saeima) Sept. 21 accepted for consideration Bill No. 1630, to reduce the VAT rate to 5 percent on the supply of specific medicines, including prescription, nonprescription, and compensable medicines. The measure would be effective Nov. 1. [Latvia, Parliament, 09/21/22]
