The Lithuanian Ministry of Finance Jan. 21 announced the government approval of a proposal to ratify the DTA with Pakistan, signed Sept. 23, 2025. The DTA will enter into force following ratification by both countries, with its provisions applying from Jan. 1 in Lithuania and July 1 in Pakistan in the calendar year following its entry into force.
