Lithuania Parliament Considers Bill to Establish Preferential VAT Rate for Specified Catering Services, Takeaway Food

The Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) March 18 accepted for consideration Bill No. XVP-215, to amend the VAT Law for the purposes of establishing a 9 percent preferential VAT rate for specified catering services and takeaway food, excluding alcoholic beverages and services, as well as parts of services related to alcoholic beverages.
