Lithuania Tax Agency Announces Expiration of VAT rate for Catering Services, Takeaway Food

The Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate Dec. 8, 2023, announced the Dec. 31, 2023, expiration date of the 9 percent preferential rate under the VAT Law for catering services and takeaway food provided by restaurants and similar catering establishments, excluding alcoholic beverages and related services.
