Lithuania Tax Agency Issues Guidance on Taxation of Permanent Income of Residents

The Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate Jan. 23 issued guidance on the taxation of permanent income of residents, effective Jan. 1. The guidance includes: 1) tax rates and thresholds for various types of income; 2) contribution rates for health insurance, pension, and social insurance; 3) VAT rates; 4) information on declarations, payments, and deadlines; and 5) calculation methods.
