The Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate Sept. 18 issued Information Notice No. R-3323, announcing increases in minimum monthly and hourly wages, and daily allowance adjustments, under Resolution No. 709/2024, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The notice describes measures: 1) increasing the minimum monthly wage to 1,038 euros (US$1,156.59) from 924 euros (US$1,029.62); 2) increasing the minimum hourly wage to 6.35 euros (US$7.07) from 5.65 euros (US$6.29); 3) adjusting the nontaxable amounts of daily allowances for foreign assignments, based on specific salary or hourly tariff remuneration thresholds; and 4) taxing the amount of daily allowances exceeding 50 percent as employment income.
